Bionic Mens Silver Series Golf Gloves (Pair)
Overall:

Reviewer Comments:
I 'discovered' Bionic Golf Gloves while surfing to find a more protective glove for a golf buddy who has developed a debilitating hand condition. The feedback from him was so good that I bought a pair myself as I too am beginning to suffer with arthritic pain in my hands and wrists. They have proved to be an excellent buy, expensive for golf gloves but good value in the protection and support they have given my hands.
They are a leather based glove with extra pressure pads on finger joints, the palm of the hand and the wrists so providing good support and cushioning at the club contact points. They are not a second skin like conventional golf gloves and do take a little getting used to, but provide a good sound grip on the club and do not impinge on the 'feel' of the golf shot.
I was perhaps fortunate that I first wore my Bionic gloves during this winter and found my hands warm and comfortable throughout. They are not an all weather glove though and, as I play on Dartmoor where we get more than our share of 'weather', I find they become soggy quite soon after rain begins and I have to change to wet weather gloves. In that they are no different to most other golf gloves so to change them in the rain is not an issue.
If I had a criticism of the glove it would be in the strength of the glove on the heel of my left hand where the leather is beginning to wear through to the inner protective layer and I have only had the gloves for a couple of months. However, as I am a Veteran golfer who is able to play 3 or 4 times a week, in all weathers, and who now probably takes more shots per round than many a golfer, I feel they are serving me well. I am just about to order my next pair!
