Callaway Fusion FT-i Driver (Square Driver)

The Callaway FT-i represent a quantum leap in driver design and performance. By exploiting the Fusion Technology and precisely positioning all the effective weight to the extreme corners of the clubhead in a revolutionary geometric design, Callaway golf has produced a driver with the highest Moment of Inertia of ANY driver on the market today. This phenomenal ability to defy the damaging  results of miss-hits combined with the OptiFit choices of Draw, Neutral and Fade, high ball velocity and a powerfull trajectory means that all golfers now have access to the most potent weapon available in golf in a combination that suits their individual. 

CT/VFT Titanium Cup Face
Modified version of proprietary VFT Technology in which face thicknessess are designed specifically to maximise performance under the new USGA Characteristic Time test, resulting in our largest, most spin robust face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face.

Inertial Design
Complete Inertial Design (CID) repositions weight to the corners of the clubhead, raising the MOI across the
horizontal (IYY) and vertical (IZZ) axes. This produces unprecedented stability for ball striking across the entire face.

FUSION TECHNOLOGY
Designed to be the world’s straightest driver, FT-i uses patented Fusion Technology that moves weight away from the Centre of Gravity. The result is a driver with increased horizontal and vertical stability that maximises distance with total accuracy

Driver Stability Comparision
460cc titanium drivers have made great improvements in stability and MOI. However, the weight of titanium virtually eliminates discretionary weight distribution, which is available in the FT-i Driver.

Composite-Top Drivers
"Comp-top" drivers distribute some weight by replacing some titanium. However, it is only a fraction of that possible with an FT-i Driver.

Carbon Composite Body
Using materials significantly lighter than titanium creates discretionary mass that is distributed to the extreme perimeter, resulting in increased stability and longer, straighter bombs down the fairway.

OptiFit Weighting System
Enables golfers to customise their driver by giving them two performance visible weighting options in most lofts:

Draw for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade; or

Neutral for maximum workability
