Recently purchased a 17° version (stiff shaft + 1\") and I love it. I use it a lot off the tee on tighter holes and as a long hitter I can still muscle it 220yards. I chose the slightly more lofted 17° over the 15° so that I can get it up in the air from the fairway. The club is fairly easy to work left and right, but I do find that when I misshit it I can lose it a long way left. Out of the rough is no problem, as the small club head seems to glide through. Would definitely recommend that you test this club before you buy. Overall I am statisfied and I have finally learnt why Callaway clubs are so loved. 8.5/10

As fairway woods go, i have tended to shy away from them and use a hybrid instead. I recently took a callaway pro's advice and picked up the 17 degree 4 wood, and it is the easiest wood i have ever hit. Great off the tee and the ground (even in the rough!). Beauty!
