The CG Gold is an all-ability iron perfect for the player who wants to maximize forgiveness while still maintaining a solid feel in a traditional head design. High and low handicappers alike are drawn to this club's performance. Gelback™ Technology provides a soft feel even on mis-hits while Micro-Cavity® Technology (MCT) improves the center of gravity for stability and control.

The vibration-tuned red Gelback insert is slightly more firm than the gold to cater to the more accomplished player who wants a soft feel on well struck shots but requires more responsiveness on off-center hits.

| Like the red, the gold Gelback insert has its own vibration-tuned firmness for optimal feedback. It is 10% softer to provide extra forgiveness on mis-hits. Additionally, the gold Gelback insert has a 30% larger surface area touching the back of the face to dampen unwanted vibrations for a smooth, solid feel at impact.

Less offset allows more workability for the accomplished player. A thinnertopline also fits the better player's eye.

| Progressive offset makes it easier to square the face at impact. A slightly thicker topline inspires confidence at address.

Combining a web hosel with a more compact head, the CG Red is meant for shotmakers. Feedback from our Tour players led to a slightly more square toe design as well.

A sling hosel design as well as a longer blade length provides a 11% larger face than the CG Red. This translates into a larger sweet spot for more forgiveness.

GELBACK™ TECHNOLOGY
Gelback, Cleveland Golf's lightweight, visco-elastic, vibration-damping material, is placed directly behind the hitting area of the clubface in the back cavity. Gelback is vibration-tuned to remove unwanted vibration on mis-hits while still allowing the player necessary feedback from the clubhead for a soft yet responsive feel.

The superior I-beam structural design of MCT provides the highest strength possible to the topline, stiffening it and allowing the face to remain undistorted and square through impact for consistent shots. Impact vibration waves are shortened by MCT, resulting in a much more solid feel than traditional iron designs.

COLOR-CODED HOSEL MARKINGS
Correctly fitting a set of irons to the player is essential for optimal performance. Once a player determines if he is "Red or Gold", the set may be further dialed-in using color-coded hosel markings that denote if the lie angle is flat, standard or upright.

ACTIONLITE FLIGHTED SHAFTS - TRAJECTORY CONTROL
Designed with Royal Precision flighted technology, these CG Gold steel shafts provide an exaggerated change in kickpoint within the club set to control ball flight. The long iron shafts are designed to launch higher and provide more spin to keep the ball in the air longer. As the set transitions into the short iron "scoring" clubs, the ballflight becomes slightly more penetrating to provide increased accuracy into the green while still providing maximum spin for control. |
