One of the fundamentals of golf is your grip of the club.  If you can’t hold your clubs comfortably for a full round you will be unable to perform at your best.  A glove will give you that extra bit of grip, especially when your palms start sweating on the first tee!  A good glove that is well fitted is an important consideration.  It should be a tight fit but not so that it restricts movement.  Too loose and the club will slip in your hands destroying your accuracy and even causing blisters.
