Adam Scott Steals Grand Slam Title from Justin Rose
It was an interesting few days in Bermuda as four of the PGA Tour’s best competed for the Grand Slam of Golf Title.  Ending yesterday with Adam Scott as the victor and a new record holder.

While Justin Rose seemed to have it in the bag going into yesterday’s final round, a brilliant performance by Scott helped the Australian to conqueror the title and set a new course record of 64 while he was it.

“I'm thrilled to come out on top,” said the 33-year old.  “Fun, but a trying couple of days here really, especially today.  It felt like a long round out there but I was happy with the score.”

Scott’s bogey-free round was enough to overtake the two-shot lead Rose had going into the final day.  While Jason Dufner and Padraig Harrington finished third and fourth respectively.  Rose admitted it was an impressive showing by Scott to close the gap.

“When you're in that position you want to close it out,” commented Rose afterwards.  “But when somebody finishes it out like that, you have to tip your hat and say you were beaten rather than losing.  He was 4 under the last six, so that's a strong finish.”
