Callaway's Big Bertha Announcements Continue with Two New Drivers
Earlier this week we gave you a sneak peek of the new Big Bertha Irons and Hybrids. Now Callaway Golf has unveiled its latest drivers, the Big Bertha Alpha 815 and the Big Bertha Alpha 815 Double Black Diamond.

These two new models join the now 5-strong Big Bertha Driver family, which also includes the original Big Bertha, the Big Bertha Alpha and the Big Bertha V-Series. Ensuring there's a driver for every golfer regardless of ability.

So what makes these latest additions so special?

The Big Bertha Alpha 815 features revolutionary technology including the breakthrough R-MOTO Face as well as a forged composite crown and gravity core. Combined, these features have been designed to offer a wide range of golfers the benefits of low spin with forgiveness.

According to Callaway's Head of R&D, Alan Hocknell the result of forgiveness plus lower spin to give extra distance creates a brand new driver category.

"We've for the first time combined the advantages of forgiveness that a lot of people, a big part of the market require in terms of being able to get the ball to still go far when they don't hit the centre of the face [or] go straight when they don't hit the centre of the face," Hocknell explained on Callaway Talks. "[We've] combined that big advantage with the advantage of lower spin than you might have seen before to contribute to extra distance."

This incredible driver also benefits from the brand's OptiFit adjustability. Allowing players the opportunity to further customise their club through a combination of eight different loft and lie angles.

While the Big Bertha Alpha Double Black Diamond has been specifically engineered with the better player in mind. Working off feedback from the Callaway Tour players, the brand employed the best technology available to produce even lower spin whilst still maintaining ball speed.

Featuring a taller club face and higher arching crown than the 815, the Double Black Diamond is designed for higher ball-speed golfers, looking for the lowest spin available.
