Callaway's Latest Big Bertha Designs Proving a Big Hit

Callaway's Latest Big Bertha Designs Proving a Big Hit
Last month Callaway Golf announced its latest Big Bertha range, the Big Bertha V Series. Featuring a driver and fairway wood designed to be the fastest Bertha yet.

Released last week in Europe, the V Series is already making waves flying off retailers shelves with re-orders already being put into Callaway. So what makes the brand’s most recent Big Bertha concept so appealing?

Super lightweight components from the clubhead to the shaft and even the grip combine with a sleek and pristine black finish to help make the V Series a true standout. Decreased club weight works to create more clubhead speed, producing more ball speed and resulting in greater distance.

Earlier this month PGA Tour Professional Chris Kirk, fresh off his Deutsche Bank Championship win, explained why he switched to the V Series Driver.

Telling Callaway Tour Talk, “The look and feel of the V Series was immediately very very appealing to me.  I love just the clean, classic black, very simple looking head and then my ball speed number jumped up a little bit which is obviously always nice.”

Nice indeed.  Since switching to the Big Bertha V Series ahead of the PGA Championship in August, Kirk has consistently added yardage to his driving stats.  While a T4 finish at East Lake on Sunday ensured the 29-year-old a second place finish in the FedEx Cup standings.
