The Irishman has world number two Lee Westwood, Open champion Darren Clarke and Dutch Open winner Simon Dyson among his squad, but is without big guns Luke Donald, Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell. There is no doubt Continental Europe are favourites, the 44-year-old said. They are a stronger team on paper. Im disappointed not to have Luke and Rory because Im competitive - I want to win.
