A view over a golf course and a short walk to hit some
golf balls is something that many fans of the sport may want and a buyer from Arizona will get this after purchasing a property previously belonging to the musician Cher.
The American singer has sold her pad overlooking the exclusive Hualalai Resort in Hawaii for $8.72 million, with the venue being one of the stops during the 2010 Champions Tour season.
Among the features of the home that the buyer can expect to enjoy from the Balinese style residence are an outdoor living area, a master wing and infinity pool with spa, while also watching some great players performing with their
golf equipment.
The sale was one of five homes to be moved on at the auction on January 18th, with the combined cost reaching almost $20 million.
Bernhard Langer will be the defending champion when the Mitsubishi Electric Championship event on the Champions Tour begins at the Hualalai Resort today (January 22nd).
The German faces a tough challenge in his quest as some of the legendary names from the sport's past will also be bringing their
golf irons to Hawaii, including Gary Player, Tom Watson and Fred Couples.
