Players prove holes in one are not that difficult
Three female golfers in Macclesfield have been celebrating recently after they all managed to register a hole-in-one with their golf clubs within days of each other.

According to the Macclesfield Express, the feat was achieved at Davenport Golf Club, where Chris Walker, Jan Lea and Sylvia Lowther, in this order, all proved their accuracy and distance control with their golf balls.

The first of the aces was registered at the 126-yard 16th hole, with the follow-up efforts occurring on the 182-yard third and the 152-yard tenth.

Meanwhile, two players bettered this accomplishment when firing holes in one during the same round recently in Australia.

Mat Schlotterbach turned around what was proving to be an ordinary start to his 18 holes by watching his ball disappear on the fourth hole at Club Pelican Golf Club.

However, not to be outdone, later in the round his wife Maria followed suit, with the club stating the achievement was even more remarkable as the holes had been made harder in preparation for a championship.

Mrs Schlotterbach told the Sunshine Coast Daily: "We just couldn't believe that we did it on the same day, in the same group.

"The smile still hasn't left our faces. We had a very ordinary game of golf after the hole-in-one. You can't concentrate, I was so over the moon."
