Ernie Els can't wait for his first visit to the South Korean outpost of Jeju to play in the Ballentine's Championship next month.
The European Tour event takes place on the volcanic island to the south of the mainland.
According to former world number one Els, the course at the Pinx Golf Club has earned itself a good reputation among professionals who have played there in the past.
"I played in Seoul in 2005 and we played a wonderful course which was set up really tough, quite like a
US Open layout with very high and thick rough," said
Callaway Golf's Els of his previous experiences in the Far Eastern country.
He continued: "It'll be my first visit to Jeju, but Ive heard so many good things about it, particularly from the players who played in the Ballantine's Championship last year."
Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell took the honours in last season's Ballantine's Championship he will be joined in the field by former US Masters champion Fred Couples.
