Launch angle decision important with Cobra ZL driver

Setting up the Cobra ZL golf driver correctly is pivotal to the level of benefit it will have on a player's game, according to a former European Tour professional.
Writing for Golf Magic, Andy Raitt highlights that reducing the launch angle could mean a slightly longer drive and therefore lead to an easier approach shot into a green.
He said: "Getting the ideal launch angle and spin rate off the head makes an amazing difference in ball flight.
"I tried a Cobra ZL driver with 9.5 degrees (neutral setting), then tried the same driver and same Aldila Voodoo shaft with 8.5 degrees of loft. The improvement was more than 13 yards."
Mr Raitt added that this could lead to a player needing one less club for their second shot - which could be the difference between a golf iron and a golf wedge - and increase the chances of a birdie being registered.
The decision of Cobra engineers to use a milled rhombus face insert and multi-material construction were highly important in helping create a golf driver offering substantial distance and accuracy.
Ian Poulter is one professional experiencing the benefits of the Cobra ZL golf driver and he had the club in his golf bag when winning the Barclays Singapore Open earlier this month.
