"There aren't too many hybrids out there built specifically for fast swing speeds and confident ball-strikers, but the VR is one that fits this market perfectly," the review noted.

"Unsurprisingly the compact head is great from difficult lies, but the impressive flight it produced also makes it an excellent option from the tee."

The ability to hit a ball further and provide a player with an improved response is created by a thinner face combined with a Split Compression Channel, while a more open face angle helps to enhance performance.
