Ram Golf targets beginners and improvers with its Evolution range
Ram Golf is not a company readily associated with any of the players on the professional golf circuit.

While Phil Mickelson is strongly linked with Callaway, Tiger Woods synonymous with Nike Golf and Padraig Harrington enjoying a fruitful partnership with Wilson, Ram Golf does not have a household name using its equipment as part of a strategy to raise its profile.

However, this does not mean Ram Golf clubs should be cast aside as possible options when amateurs are looking for new equipment.

This is particularly true for beginner and improving golfers, for whom the Ram Golf Evolution Combo Irons have been conceived.

The clubs have been designed with a focus on playability, with the shorter irons featuring a shallow cavity to make them easier to hit.

Meanwhile, the mid irons' cavity allows for better ball striking and an improved ball flight.

For the long irons, the focus is on greater distance and accuracy to ensure beginners and improvers enjoy the game as much as possible.

Golfers considering the clubs have a number of options to choose from, with the Ram Golf Evolution Combo Irons coming with either a steel or graphite shaft.

A ladies version of the Ram Golf Evolution Combo Irons with a graphite shaft is also available.

Amateur golfers are further catered for with the Ram Golf Evolution Recovery Wood.

Specifically, the club has been designed to make it easier for players to get the ball airborne from a variety of different lies.

This is particularly helpful for beginners and improvers, as many struggle to get the ball off the ground with longer clubs.

Another way in which golfers are aided is through the maximised perimeter weighting and low centre of gravity, which makes the club easier to hit and the balls fly longer, particularly in comparison with long irons.

Again, a women's version of the Ram Golf Evolution Recovery Wood is available, and both men's and ladies' clubs are fitted with Aldila VX graphite shafts.

To complete their irons set, golfers could consider the Ram Golf Evolution Satin Wedge, which comes in three different lofts - 52 degrees, 56 degrees and 60 degrees.

For those who like variety in their golf bag, the manufacturer has produced the Ram Golf Evolution Black Wedge.

This striking design comes in the same three different lofts as its satin cousin.
