Footjoy has revealed that its new
DryJoys Tour
golf shoes will be hitting the shops from January 2011.
The company's latest product features the next-generation Tri-Density TPU Stability PODS outsole, which offers competitive performance on a wide range of terrains.
Players have already been using the shoes to good effect, with Ben Crane donning them on his way to victory at the recent CIMB Asia Pacific Classic in Malaysia.
Mike Foley, director of footwear marketing at Footjoy, explained that golfers will enjoy the "comfort, flexibility and all-weather" attributes provided by the shoes.
"This new category takes our highly-successful DryJoys franchise to the next level with the integration of several key stability features," he said.
"The [shoes have the] new added benefit of several major technological enhancements that deliver unsurpassed platform stability, traction and overall confidence."
Footjoy, which was founded in 1857 and is based in Massachusetts in the US, carries the slogan 'The Number One Shoe and Glove in Golf'.
