Players looking for success on the golf course may want to change to the Nike One Tour golf ball as it has been used by professionals winning three lucrative tournaments within the last week.

Tiger Woods, Stephen Ames and Michelle Wie all also play with Nike golf clubs and have registered success on three different continents.

Participating in Australia for the first time since 1998, world number one Woods used his Nike SQ Dymo golf driver and Nike Victory Red Forged TW Blade golf irons to claim a two-stroke victory in the JBWere Masters in Melbourne.

Joint-leader heading into the closing 18 holes, Woods was significantly aided by hitting every fairway off the tee in his final round.

In the US, Ames used the same golf driver and Nike Victory Red Forged golf wedges to succeed in a playoff at the Children’s Miracle Network Classic.

He benefitted from an especially strong final round with his Nike golf putter and said: "I changed my routine a little bit just to quicken up the pace in my routine itself and all of a sudden the putter just got hot."

Meanwhile, Wie gained her first LPGA Tour title by triumphing in the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Mexico.

Other players to have won prestigious tournaments in 2009 with golf irons and golf wedges from Nike include Paul Casey and Stewart Cink, who landed his first major at the Open Championship.
