The fiancee of former ladies number one Annika Sorenstam says the Swede has not lost any of her drive as she comes to the end of a glittering golf career.
Sorenstam will take part in the Samsung World Championship, starting today at Half Moon Bay Golf Links in California, with the final furlong of her golfing years well within site.
But husband-to-be Mike McGee is positive that Sorenstam will be battling just as hard to take Lorena Ochoa's crown away.
He told the San Francisco Chronicle: "She hasn't been too nostalgic - she's pretty good on focusing on the task at hand."
"I think there will be nostalgia toward the very end of the year. Those last tournaments, she'll be emotional."
Sorenstam has won the event five times before, but faces a tough challenge from Ochoa, who shot four sub-70 rounds last time out.
