Ochoa "excited" by new generation
Ladies' golf number one Lorena Ochoa has expressed her excitement with the new wave of talent emerging in the last 12 months.

In 2008, Tseng Yani of Taiwan won the LPGA Championship, South Korean Park In-bee walked away with the US Women's Open and her compatriot Shin Ji-Yai bagged the Women's British Open – all three golfers are just 20-years-old.

Now ahead of the HSBC Champions event, Ochoa has revealed that she is thrilled by the fresh challenge posed by the new contenders from Asia.

She said: "It'll be great for the fans and the media having some new faces. I'm really excited.

"All of them are very young and they're not afraid. I just play for me, rather than think of them, because there's always somebody who is going to give you a hard time."

Ochoa cemented her position at the top of the world rankings with a three-stroke victory in the Honda LPGA Thailand last week.
