John Senden Earns Second PGA Tour Win at the Valspar Championship
The final round of the Valspar Championship saw John Senden storm from 2-strokes behind the overnight leader to claim a 1-stroke victory on Sunday.  Earning the Australian golfer his second career PGA Tour win.

With his last triumph being at the John Deere Classic in 2006 it’s been a long time since Senden has secured a PGA title.  The win at the weekend ensures the 42-year-old a spot at next month’s Masters as well as a significant move up in the FedEx Cup standings.

Armed with his 12 degree loft SLDR Driver and Ghost Monte Carlos Putter, the TaylorMade player solidified an incredible performance with a chip shot for birdie on the 16th followed by another birdie on the 17th, before ending on par.

“It was just like a magic shot,” said Senden referring to his chip on the 16th.

As for the winless drought he’s managed to overcome, the Australian feels this latest victory at the Copperhead Course proves he’s still got more game left in him.

“It's something that makes you believe more than you can get it done again, rather than just once and thinking back then in '06, 'Was it a flash in the pan?' I don't believe so,” Senden said.
