Levet revels in French Open victory

Monday, 04 July 2011 11:34 AM Thomas Levet said his victory in the French Open was like living out a dream following his nail-biting one shot win over Britains Mark Foster and Denmarks Thorbjorn Olesen. The Frenchman came into the event at Le Golf National, near Paris, ranked 352nd in the world and was three shots behind going into the final day, but his closing round of one under par proved enough to snatch victory. It was just crazy - the way it went was just like a dream, the 42-year-old said after Olesen missed a par putt on the 18th before long-time leader Foster left a birdie attempt short.
