Swedish professional golfer Peter Hanson is hoping to continue his impressive run following a top-three finish on home soil in last week's Nordea Masters.
Going into the
US Open today (June 14th), Hanson is confident of reinforcing his major credentials at the Olympic Club in San Francisco after holding the top spot at the Masters going into the final round.
The talented golfer's performance across the Atlantic has been impressive after he finished inside the top five of the WGC-Cadillac Championship and reached the quarter finals of the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship.
His promising run has led many to view him as the understated dark horse of the 112th edition of the US Open, but Hanson is expecting very different conditions to those at Augusta National.
"I haven't made many birdies during practice, so I think par is definitely going to be your friend - especially on the front nine," he explained.
