It may be the off-season but that doesn’t mean
Rory McIlroy is taking time away from the course. On the contrary, the current world number six is still hitting the greens and doing so with one very prominent figure.
On Thursday former American President Bill Clinton tweeted a picture of himself and the 24-year-old taken after the two enjoyed a round of golf in Ireland. Clinton described the outing as a “fantastic day” while McIlroy retweeted the post with a personal message, “Thanks for the lesson, Mr. President!”
While the 2013 season has been a difficult one for McIlroy, it looks like he’s thoroughly enjoying his time off!
