TaylorMade to Release their Highest-Ever Lofted Driver

TaylorMade to Release their Highest-Ever Lofted Driver
Since its introduction last August, TaylorMade’s SLDR Driver has quickly become the #1 driver used on Tour. This week the brand unveiled its newest SLDR member, the SLDR S.

Specifically engineered to benefit players of all abilities the SLDR S builds upon the idea that a higher loft plus a low forward centre of gravity will help you to achieve greater distance.

TaylorMade’s Chief Technical Officer, Benoit Vincent explains, “It’s no secret that high launch and low spin maximise driver distance, but some players think that only Tour pros can benefit from lofting up with low forward CG.”  Adding, “This is simply not true.  By lofting up, you can generate serious distance regardless of swing speed with SLDR S, which has low and forward CG properties, along with a sliding weight that assists shot shape.”

Offered in lofts 10, 12, 14 and 16, the latter of which is the highest lofted 460 cc driver the brand has ever produced, a sleek design concept further enhances this latest creation.  Benefitting from a satin silver crown and a black button-back, the SLDR S looks as good as it sounds.

This newest metalwood family also includes SLDR S Fairway and SLDR S Rescue clubs, all extremely playable and helpful in the goal of achieving maximum distance.

The SLDR S lines will be available from May 14, 2014.
