Webb Simpson has claimed his first victory since the 2012 U.S. Open. Winning the Shriners Hospital for Children Open by six-strokes.
The 28-year-old finished off a glorious weekend that saw him birdie 28 holes before finishing at 24-under 260. A quality effort that earned Simpson his fourth PGA Tour win.
“It means the world,” the Titleist player told Golf Channel shortly after his win.
“This year, I feel like I have gotten better, I just hadn't gotten the win. I was close at Hilton Head but we were working hard and it's just nice to finish the year off with a 'W'.”
