June 10th has been named as the date for the commencement of a public inquiry into Donald Trump's proposed £1 billion golf resort in Aberdeenshire.
The inquiry will be conducted at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and will run until June 4th.
US business tycoon Trump has designs for two championship courses at the site and a five star hotel, as well as holiday flats and villas.
Mr Trump's representative George Sorial, commented: "We are pleased with today's meeting. It would appear that we will have a tight, well-structured inquiry which will focus on the real issues. This should then allow for a faster decision-making process."
When making known his initial plans for the development four years ago, Mr Trump said that the project on a 565 hectare site would have a special connection with his Scottish-born mother, whom he was undertaking the venture "in honour" of.
