A well-known US announcer has been drafted in to host a series of power golf events which will feature eight of the longest drivers of a ball on the planet.
Veteran Rick Allen, who has appeared in many advertisements stateside as well as being the voice of NASCAR racing, will take to the mic on the HorsePower Tee Shot Tour.
John Mamoudis, HorsePower Sports Marketing's president, commented: "We are pleased to have Rick take the reins as this years host of the HorsePower Tee Shot Tour (HTST) events.
"His professionalism, great stage presence, and love of both racing and golf make him the perfect man for the job."
The 'monster drivers' on the HTST reach distances way over most PGA professionals, with players such as Sean 'the Beast' Fister, Brooks Baldwin and Carl Wolter pushing tee shots up to the 400 yard mark.
