A Darren Clarke 40-footer has won the European Tour Shot of the Month for April.
The Northern Ireland man sunk the magnificently-judged birdie on the last hole of his final round at the BMW Asian Open, a tournament he won following a drought of nearly four years.
After bogeying on 16 and 17, Clarke ended with a flourish, managing to hold off Robert-Jan Derksen of Holland by one shot to take the title.
Recalling the shot, he said: "I gathered myself, and hit a solid putt. It was tracking six feet out, and I guess sometimes it's just meant to go in. My boys Tyrone and Conor would have enjoyed that putt more than I did."
Damien McGrane grabbed the runner's up spot, chipping in for birdie in rainy conditions at the Beijing CBD International Golf Club's ninth hole during a win at the Volvo China Open.
