Michelle Wie has received criticism from fellow pros after her decision to skip the Women's British Open at Sunningdale in order to play in a PGA men's event.
Wie has chosen to appear in a men's tournament after accepting an invitation from the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open at Reno, Nevada, instead of playing in the LPGA major, starting tomorrow (Thursday, July 31st).
Former child golf prodigy Michelle Wie will be given another opportunity to test her game against the best on the men's circuit after accepting an invite to play in the Reno-Tahoe Open.
The event, which starts on Thursday, July 31st, will be the seventh PGA event Wie has taken part - she has failed to make the cut in every tournament so far.
