I first tried this ball after reading an article on it in Consumer Reports. Before I played the Titleist Pro V1, but I am a 9 handicap and hater losing balls that are so expensive. So I decided to give these a try. I found they are very soft to the feel and they go almost as far as the Pro V1, but at less than half the price. This is the best deal for a premium golf ball without sacrificing quality.

With a handicap of 6 I thought the Titleist ProV1 was the ball for me. Hard as a marble but great distance off the tee. Luckily I found a Nike Power Distance Soft ball in the rough one day and played with it for the rest of the round. It's long off the tee but the feel of the ball with short iron shots to the green reminded me how good a softer ball could be. I would say that it's easily as long as the Titleist ProV1 but better for being more responsive on the green. It stops much quicker and just feels more forgiving. Hard to describe but a good player will like them straight away. Just the right balance of distance and control. I've just bought a dozen which I hope will last a while.
