TaylorMade RocketBallz Driver is their second generation of white clubs and as expected it is LONGER and STRAIGHTER than any driver they have produced before.

RocketBallz (RBZ) which combines speed, adjustability designed to appeal to a wide range of players. Remarkably, the new RBZ drivers, which are packed with performance and will be played by PGA Tour stars Camilo Villegas and Jason Day.

Key to the performance and value of the RBZ drivers is the incorporation of TaylorMade’s patented Flight Control Technology (FCT) which is packaged into a modern, aerodynamically shaped clubhead outfitted with a lightweight, 50-gram shaft. With FCT, the golfer can easily adjust the performance angles (face angle, loft and lie) of the RBZ driver to one of 8 settings via the FCT sleeve. These settings allow a range of launch conditions that promote up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory adjustment.

Shaft and Club Specifications
The RocketBallz driver’s combination of lightweight shaft and lightweight grip results in overall club weight of less than 300 grams. Re-balancing the club with a slightly higher swingweight, promotes more swing speed for most golfers. TaylorMade redesigned the shaft and mass-properties of the head mass properties to create a draw-bias and without sacrificing feel and playability. The length is 46 inches, which promotes an optimum combination of clubhead speed and control.

The RBZ driver is available in three lofts – 9.5°, 10.5° and HL (high-launch). The standard RBZ SuperFast Matrix Ozik XCON 5 shaft comes in four shaft flexes – S, R, M and L.

First of all I love the colour and design of this club. I was also considering the Cobra ZL encore which also looks great, but the inclusion of the lime colour and the £100 price difference swung it for me. Very lightweight, sits nicely at address. Great loud solid sound at impact and really good distance on the driving range.

I've been looking for a Driver that had the look and feel of the Original R7 Quad from a few years ago with little success, often you find a club that has the right feel but may not have the asthetics, or you feel like you're paying fro a brand and not getting supurb value. Enter the RocketBallz!!! This CLub looks great, it's got a fantastic price point, the head cover is a welcomed break from the Old Velor Style head covers you used to get with Tayloremade Clubs and above all else the Ball Flys!!! I'm not hitting 260 yards consistently with dispersion within a 10 yard radiun of target. This summer's golf is going to be somethng else. The Club does sound incredible loud which isn't always desirable, but when you watch the ball go it really makes up for it.
