I have used the Pro V1x now for a few months and it is a all round high performance ball. It has low spin of the driver and longer irons to help with accuracy and distance. since I started I found I am hitting it longer on average. The Pro V1x is also a great ball around the green with its soft feel and high spin.

Recently switched to the Pro V1x from the ordinary Pro V1 - I was looking to reduce the spin i generate on my driver and despite my doubts as to whether there was any real difference between the two balls Id estimate I am now hitting the ball about 10-15 yrds further. Best in the market for a lower spin high performance ball...

After playing pro v1's for the past 8 or so years I decided to give another ball a try. I decided on the Bridgestone B330 RX... Not in the same league as the Titleist. I was then given the chance to try the new (2011)Pro v1x's. What a ball!!! first round I played was in 25-30mph winds but this ball just seem to cut straight through. I play off a handicap of 14 and went round 9 over and that was with missing 3 twelve foot birdie putts on quite poor greens. They may be a bit on the pricey side but you certainly get what you pay for... A1!!!
