Bryson DeChambeau Earns $259,600 in First Pro Appearance
Bryson DeChambeau made his professional golf debut last week at the RBC Heritage where the 22-year-old finished T4 and made $259,600.  Not too shabby for your first gig out of college!

The self-proclaimed “golf scientist” is making a name for himself both on and off the course.  His talent is unmistakable and helps solidify him as the Rookie to watch in 2016.  But possibly even more interesting is his take on the game.  From his unusual set of irons (all 37.5 inches) to his obsession with physics and how it relates to golf, DeChambeau is a fascinating addition to the PGA tour and we can’t wait to see where he ends up!

Next on the COBRA PUMA player’s schedule is this week’s Valero Texas Open where DeChambeau will once again be teeing up against the best players in the world, including defending champion Jimmy Walker and Callaway’s Patrick Reed, after earning an exemption for the tournament with his top-10 finish in Hilton Head.

“It’s been quite a journey so far, these past couple weeks,” DeChambeau told reporters this weekend, just one week after finishing Low Amateur at The Masters.  “It’s an honour to be playing out here with these big boys, trying to do my best.  Hopefully I can keep competing out there and hopefully I can get a couple of wins out there.”

So how did the 22 year-old celebrate his first pay cheque???  By getting a private jet of course!
