Justin Rose Continues Winning Streak at Scottish Open

Justin Rose Continues Winning Streak at Scottish Open
Just two weeks after winning the Quicken Loans National, Justin Rose has secured the Scottish Open title, marking the Englishman’s first professional win in Scotland.

Rose climbed to the top of the leaderboard locking in a 2-stroke victory over Sweden’s Kristoffer Broberg.  Finishing with an impressive 16-under-268 at Royal Aberdeen.

“It’s great to get my first win in Scotland and that’s pretty special because you guys invented the game and the knowledge of the game is second to none,” Rose told reporters afterwards.

The 33-year-old seems to have found his groove after winning last year’s U.S. Open and is now looking firmly ahead to the start of this week’s Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.

“I’ve never won two in a row and I’ve certainly never won three in a row so I’m in uncharted territory,” Rose said.

Uncharted but not unheard of- American Phil Mickelson went on to win last year’s Open after securing the Scottish Open title the week before.

So will Rose have a hat trick come Sunday?
