Martin Kaymer gets his Feet Wet for Birdie at the BMW International
German golfer Martin Kaymer showed us he knows how to stay cool even when faced with a particularly difficult situation.  Shooting out of a pond at yesterday’s BMW International Open to ultimately make birdie on the hole.

Most golfers can relate to trying to salvage a bad shot, just hoping you can make good on a golf ball stuck in an unfortunate hazard.  But 30-year-old Kaymer proved just how the pros like to handle such misfortune.  Remaining calm and collected on the par-five 9th hole, the TaylorMade player got right in the water and did what was needed to secure he came in under par.

Going into the week with high hopes of playing in his home country, Kaymer didn’t have the best opening round at the Golfclub Munchen Eichenried, finishing at T84 Thursday with an even par-72.  But perhaps he’s just getting warmed up!

Check out Kaymer’s amazing pond shot below.
