Matt Jones Earns First PGA Tour Win and Augusta Invite
The Australians continue to light up the PGA Tour as Matt Jones secured the Shell Houston Open title on Sunday.  Earning his first Tour win as well as his first trip to the Masters.

“Going to Augusta is amazing,” said Jones afterwards.  “The win means everything to me right now because that's what we play for is to win.  To have Augusta as a reward for that win is amazing.”

The 33-year-old, who entered the final round 6-strokes behind the lead, was able to close the gap and ultimately force a playoff with Matt Kuchar.

Two holes in, an incredible 42-foot chip putt on the 18th ended Kuchar’s chance as Jones captured his maiden victory.

“I walked up there and told my caddy I was going to chip it in,” Jones said.  “... You don't know if it's going to lip out, low or high, but when I saw it disappear it's probably the happiest I've been on the golf course.”

Jones’ win makes it the second consecutive week an Australian has claimed victory on the PGA Tour and the country’s fourth win since February.  Setting up an exciting story as Adam Scott looks to defend his Masters title this weekend in Georgia.
