Sang-Moon Bae Wins PGA Season Opener at Frys.com Open
An incredible tournament made a few hiccups on Sunday irrelevant for Sang-Moon Bae. With the South Korean golfer scoring his second career win at the Frys.com Open in Napa, California.

Going into the final round Bae held a 4-stroke lead that at one point stretched to 6. Although a series of bogeys on the back nine threatened to derail the Callaway golfer's road to victory, Bae was able to hold it together finishing with an impressive 15-under 273 total, 2-strokes ahead of Steven Bowditch.

Yesterday's feat marks the 28-year-old's first win since the 2013 Byron Nelson Championship as well as his first top-10 finish since that time.

Speaking of his victories Bae admitted on Sunday that, "The first one was hard, but second one was more difficult." Adding, "But now I've got the second one, I think third and fourth will come easy since I have the confidence."

After claiming yesterday's PGA season-opener, Bae already has his mind set on where he'd like to end the 2014/2015 schedule- with a spot on next year's Presidents Cup Team, making its debut in Asia at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon.

"I think it's most important to me because it's in Korea next year. It really means a lot," Bae told reporters. "There's a lot of good golfers in Korea, but I'm really working hard. I really want to play Presidents Cup next year."

If Bae can continue to play as he did in Napa this past weekend we think he has a pretty good shot of reaching his end-of-season goal.
