SIK Golf Putters Will Change the Way You Roll

As Harvey Penick once said, “A good putter is a match for anyone. A bad putter is a match for no one.” While powerful drives are a great asset to a player, golfers who can master the putting green are really the ones with a competitive edge. SIK Golf, the putter brand trusted by Bryson DeChambeau, has been using ground-breaking DLT technology to help golfers make more putts and now they’ve been acquired by LA Golf – one of the world’s most exclusive shaft makers – a move that’s sure to give putter design a major upgrade. Read on to find out more about the brand that famously doesn’t pay for players to play.

DLT – The Secret Sauce

The secret behind the brand’s success lies in their patented Descending Loft Technology. DLT uses four flat surfaces that are milled into each putter face. Every plane descends in loft by 1° from the top of the face to the bottom of the face. When your shaft is pressed at impact, the ball contact will be higher on the face and the same is true in reverse.

Got all that? Don’t worry if you don’t because really all you need to know is that DLT delivers consistent launch angles from putt to putt. And that means you can expect more consistent and predictable rolls.

Tour-Tested

Need more of a reason to trust the technology? SIK doesn’t pay Tour players to use their putters. Golfers like World Number 7 Bryson DeChambeau and 3x PGA Tour winner Brendon Todd use SIK putters in competitive play because DLT helps them score!

“Descending Loft Technology has made a huge difference to my game, and I am excited that golfers of all standards will now have the chance to appreciate what it can do for their putting – improved distance control, consistent ball striking, and confidence on the greens,”  says DeChambeau.

The SIK Standards

The SIK line of golf putters are custom built and offer golfers five superior models to choose from.

Pro

The brand’s signature design is used by the most professionals. Featuring a classic anser design, you can rest assured that the look, sound and feel of this putter will exceed expectations.

Jo

Slightly heavier than the Pro and Sho, the Jo is a blade putter favored by many golfers for its more pronounced swing weight.

DW

Considered a mid mallet, the DW combines the Pro aesthetic with double the width. This allows for the advantages of the mallet for those who prefer the look of a blade.

Sho

Another mid mallet, the half-moon shape of the Sho affords players a mallet-like view at setup whilst still maintaining industry standard blade weighting.

Flo

This high-MOI mallet might have a slightly unorthodox aesthetic, it is a total performer.

Armlock Putters

With the success of Bryson DeChambeau on Tour, SIK’s Armlock Putters have been thrust into the spotlight. Featuring a larger grip and longer shaft, the main advantage of the armlock is better face control.

The Arm-Lock style of putting has been around for a while. Essentially, it involves locking the grip of the putter into a player’s lead forearm. By keeping the forearm in full contact with the club, there is minimal wrist movement and less likelihood of your hands moving.

SIK has designed three unique armlock styles (Pro, DW and Flo) to offer golfers the utmost in variety.
