It was a great day on Sunday for Ireland’s
Padraig Harrington who won his first European Tour title in 8 years! The 45-year-old held his nerve throughout the final round of the Portugal Masters to beat England’s Andy Sullivan by 1-stroke. Harrington, who won the Honda Classic in March 2015 on the PGA Tour, hadn’t had a Euro win since 2008’s US PGA Championship.
“It’s a big win,” Harrington told reporters afterwards. “I tried to be really aggressive. The golf course really suited me and I just tried to go after every pin I could.”
This marks the second week in a row Wilson Staff has been in the winner’s bag on Tour. Last week Brendan Steele won the PGA’s Season Opener using some of the same Wilson equipment as Harrington. To check out the rest of the three-time major winner’s bag see below.

Over on the PGA Tour American
Justin Thomas won the CIMB Classic for the second consecutive year after a stellar final round 64. The 23-year-old started the day 4-strokes behind India’s Anirban Lahiri but after Lahiri quadruple bogeyed the 3rd hole, Thomas made his move. Securing his second career win in Malaysia.
“I’m just so excited,” said Thomas afterwards. Adding, “This is what you play for. You play to get in these situations and handle them well and I felt like I did.”
