Great shoes. Upgraded from an old pair of Adidas and definitely don’t regret it.
A few things to note:
- there is a pad on the outside of the underfoot to give some extra support when transferring weight. This could put some folks off but does provide additional stability when swinging. You do get used to it very quickly,
- personally I always upgrade the laces on all my shoes to lock laces. Makes them easier to slip and and provides a good snug fit with some wiggle room when playing,
- traction has been great so far but haven’t played with them in wet conditions,
- the wide fit is welcome. I have very wide feet and generally wear barefoot shoes day to day. These are wide enough to accommodate my foot which is wide (I’m also a size 14). I would probably be slightly better off in a 13.5 but that doesn’t exist.
All in all these are good shoes. I am thinking of purchasing a second pair to rotate them.
