What started out as a birthday gift for Murray has turned into a full-fledged golf brand featuring all the things the Murray brothers most love – Chicago, sports, fun and style. Teaming up with theCHIVE, two exclusive designs were unveiled to honour the actor on his 66th birthday this past Wednesday.
The “This is the Year” golf polo features a baseball themed look paying homage to the brothers’ love for their local Chicago Cubs. Featuring an iconic pinstripe and tartan detailing on the sleeve cuff and inside collar, this lightweight, moisture-wicking shirt is sure to get you noticed on the greens!
Also released this week was the William Murray Hat. Perfectly suited for on and off the course wear, this hat is definitely going to be a classic. Featuring the brand’s awesome logo of Murray tossing a club you can be sure you’ll never find another hat like this. The WMG description insists, “your dome never felt so good.”
Consider this a small taste of what’s to come. William Murray Golf’s full line is set be revealed later this fall and will include golf polo shirts, golf button ups, golf shorts, golf t-shirts and golf hats. On the official website it says to, “expect a revolving door or irreverent, fashionably-designed one-offs.”
