Buying Guide - JPX900 Hot Metal Irons

by Maura Hutchinson

Mark discusses the new Mizuno JPX900 Hot Metal Irons which are made from a new material for golf clubs called Chromalloy.

Mizuno says, this helps them create a thinner face on the club which means they can reinforce other areas to increase forgiveness on off-center shots. The club has quite a forgiving design with a cavity back, but it is still a very good looking club. Mark was impressed with the control he got when testing, as some forgiving clubs that can hit the ball a long way but in doing so the manufacturers have reduced the spin created, this is what reduces the control on the irons.
