FootJoy Pro SL named Golf “Shoe of the Year”

For the eighth consecutive year FootJoy has nabbed the “Shoe of the Year” award at the Foremost Golf Industry Awards. This year the accolade was owned by the brand’s incredible Pro SL Golf Shoes.

Sales and Marketing Director of FootJoy UK Russel Lawes said, “Our brand has been built upon a strong relationship with the professionals selling our products to the golfer. Providing them with a strong footwear line-up which can resonate with the consumer is always our aim at the start of each season, and we’re pleased that we’ve been able to do that again in 2017 with the Pro/SL.”
The brand’s DryJoys and Contour lines were also in the running proving just how powerful the FootJoy name is in the world of golf. Research showed that in 2017 more than one in every ten golf shoes sold in the United Kingdom was a FootJoy Pro SL. The pros on tour have also been converted to the brand’s latest winner with numerous players sporting the style this season on the greens. Last week both Branden Grace and Patton Kizzire wore the Pro SL golf shoes during their respective wins on the European and PGA Tours. Other brand ambassadors include Tyrrell Hatton, Lee Westwood and Andrew “Beef” Johnston.

Andy Martin the managing Director of Foremost said, “We’d like to congratulate FJ on the award and another strong year, and look forward to continuing to work closely with the brand in 2018.”
