Henrik Stenson Cruises to Double Victory on Sunday

“It was a tough day out there today and I am really satisfied with the way I hung in there,” Stenson said afterwards. “I didn't feel that confident with my game today. I had to battle it a little bit. I had to fight hard mentally.”
Stenson entered the last day of play in Atlanta with a four-stroke lead. He looked poised to remain a good way ahead of the rest of the pack, until rookie Jordon Speith came blazing through. The 20-year-old from Texas was able to shrink Stenson’s lead at one stroke after an amazing streak of seven birdies in ten holes. But Speith slipped, bogeying the 17th as Stenson birdied the 15th, regaining his margin and never looking back.
