The world number two looked just as stunned by shot as the rest of us. With the hole-in-one coming on the 196-yard par-3 second at Conway Farms, it was a great way to start the tournament for the Titleist player.
Spieth has been struggling the last few weeks, most recently missing the cut two week’s ago at the Deutsche Bank Open. But those troubles seemed far behind the 22-year-old as he celebrated his good fortune yesterday.
So how does Spieth plan on commemorating the event? Apparently pizza and drinks are on the Texan.
Ace!! Deep dish and drinks will be at the media reception tomorrow afternoon! Anyone else.. If I see you tonight I'll buy!
