Scuffed golf balls - do they really make any difference?

by Maura Hutchinson

Mark is asked on Twitter by @FatDadFishing “How much difference does a scuffed ball make compared to a new one?”

Mark describes how it depends how badly the ball is damaged. The modern balls don’t get as misshapen a the old balata golf balls used to. If your ball hits a tree or you thin the ball and it leave a scuff mark then if in a competition you should probably change to a new ball. In your experience how have scuffed balls affected your shots? Do you change balls regularly? Let us know on Twitter or Facebook.
