Mark tests the new Titleist Pro V1 Ball, of which Titleist says the ball goes further, higher and more consistent but that is quite hard to quantify as an amateur golf ball.
It is very specific to the player as different people hit shots with different amounts of spin and prefer a different feel around the greens. Mark suggests trying lots of different balls and finding the best ball for you. Interestingly Mark found during testing that the dew and moisture on the golf ball made an enormous difference to the spin performance.
