Titleist posted a picture of the clubs marked with the names Walker, Scott, Spieth and more to their social media pages. Releasing a statement saying they have always relied on the experience and feedback of the greatest players in the world when testing out their designs.
“Product seeding and validation with the game’s best players is a key part of our launch process – a process that all Titleist golf clubs go through to ensure they are faithful to the Titleist brand promise of innovation, performance, and quality excellence,” wrote the brand on its website.
From the pictures out there it looks as though the 917 differs from its predecessor the 915 with the addition of a “SureFit CG” and a slightly wider “Active Recoil Channel” slot.
How many Titleist players do you think will be putting the 917 in their bag this week in Maryland???
