What Is The Next Breakthrough Technology in Golf Clubs?

by Maura Hutchinson

In this episode, Q&A Olly asks "What do you think will be the next major breakthrough in club technology. Such as the Taylormade M Family using Carbon in the crown."

Mark discusses how firstly Callaway used Carbon years before Taylormade did. Mark then moves onto the fact that a lot of the "breakthroughs" have infact been tried and tested before. The R&A does not let manufacturers do anything too radical to the golf clubs because the emphasis is on the skill of the golfer but not the forgiveness of the clubs they use.
