On Tuesday, the 37-year-old told a press conference that he was ready to tackle the challenges of Muirfield. After completing his third practice round of nine holes, Woods looked comfortable and confident.

Woods hasn’t won a major since 2008. So does the golfer feel the British Open is in his grasp?
“I feel very good about my game,” said the world number one. “Even though I haven't won a major in five years I've been in a bunch of them where I've had chances. I just need to keep putting myself there and eventually I'll get some.”
